The Goddess was also worshipped for protecting the city and had immense power at hand. She was also Zeus’s favorite child without any mother since she was a mighty God. No other goddess dominated her.

Artemis was the Goddess of vegetation, food, and wild animals. She was also the Goddess of childbirth and chastity. Zeus and Leto had birthed her, and she was also Apollo’s twin sister. Many rural people thought that Artemis was their favorite Goddess. But she was also very kind and friendly that made everyone love her more than ever. Generally, Artemis loved hunting, dancing, and loving her nymphs. Many poets and artists still refer to her using a stag or a hunting dog in their works.

The twin brother of Artemis, Apollo, was another significant god of Ancient Greece. He is still worshipped in many parts of the world for being so fierce. He always helped men to realize their mistakes and feel guilty. He also purified them and helped them be better people. What is most intriguing is that even God’s feared Apollo for his aggressive nature. But it was only his father and mother that could deal with his presence without any hindrance. Others would merely shake and escape. He is also known for being the God of crops and food. Generally, Apollo is observed in many works of artists and painters naked with no beard. 

  1. Poseidon 

He is the Greek Sea god who was so drunk in lust and power to avenge his rivalry with Athena that he raped Medusa until she lost her purity. He is also known as the God of horses and earthquakes. Cronus was his father, and he went on to be the same for Odysseus. He was also the brother of Zeus and fathered many horses too. He was always in conflict with many people, and Athena was one of the main rivals for defeating him. He also had several other children that were strange and creepy. 

  1. Zeus 

Finally, we talk about the supreme God, who was the chief deity of the Pantheon. He was also the God of thunder and lightning. He also managed the rain and winds. Apart from this, he was the father of both God and humans. Zeus also led a revolt against the Titans and won it. Once he did that, he also created the legendary Pandora and her box. Zeus also was responsible for protecting the cities, strangers, guests, and property. As such, people worshipped him wholeheartedly wherever he went. Even today, he is revered by many Greece people who believe in him.
